Michael Nagle has spent his career in media. He started off in the CBS mailroom at Black Rock in New York City. He moved on working for Columbia Records, The Box Music Network, Bloomberg LP, Playboy, FlixFling and NatureVision TV.

 

Michael ran TV distribution for Bloomberg from 2000-05. He represented Bloomberg and also worked on behalf of independent programmers with the Federal Communications Commission on both Broadcast Must-Carry regulation and also opposing A La Carte Packaging regulation. For Playboy (2005-15), he increased network distribution by +128% repositioning it alongside HBO and Showtime.

 

In 2015, Michael formed Ashling Digital. Under Ashling, Michael co-produced docu-series “PINNED” (focusing on modeling agency, Veronica Pinup NY), and represented Marcus Malone ("Athletes In Fashion" "The Lunchbox Crew" and "...With The Stars" franchises) and LAGO Productions (Mark and Michelle Harris "Alive And Well").


Michael has also served as SVP Digital Distribution & Business Development for NatureVision TV (2015-17). He orchestrated NatureVision TV's launch on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, TVTIBI, Cincinnati Bell and others. In 2017, Michael joined the Social & Interactive Media Consortium (SIMC) as EVP of Advertising. He was also named to the Board of Directors for VIVA Entertainment Group. Media Play Magazine (formerly Home Media Magazine) awarded Michael one of their "Digital Drivers" both in 2016 and 2017 based on his work with FlixFling. For FlixFling, Michael developed their partnership with Music Choice creating the first streaming service offering both music and movies. For Invincible Pictures, Michael initiated their syndication partnership with Docler Media ("Tag TV") which saw the television premieres of BLOOD ORANGE, THE INFINITE MAN, JUST JIM and many more. In 2016, Michael was named President of GetCast, the comprehensive platform for casting professionals and actors in media production. He continues to consult for Invincible Pictures Studios, Vidillion and SPI International. He has also written for OTT Executive Magazine.

 

Michael has served as lead contact for all major video platforms for linear, VOD/SVOD, OTT, Broadcast and multi-screen.

Michael is a native of New York City. He now lives with his wife, Jodi and two children on Long Island.
